Download form for IOL constants optimization for the Haag-Streit Lenstar LS 900

A MS Excel file has been prepared with all data fields necessary for IOL constants optimization. This file is available in English.

In this spreadsheet file, the data fields shown below must be filled in for each IOL type in question and as many patients (n>50) as possible with axial lengths out of a range as broad as possible (e.g. 18 mm < axial length < 29 mm). Exclude cases with complications during surgery, capsular ruptures etc, sulcus fixation, aphakic and pseudophakic eyes, eyes with silicone oil tamponade, eyes after refractive surgery etc. BCDVA should be 10/20 and/or better. Refraction should be stable (3 months postop, refraction is considered to be stable).
For optimization of lens constants for the Lenstar, it is necessary that all fields contain reliable data.
The spreadsheet with clinical data should be handed over to a Haag-Streit representative or sent as attachment via e-mail directly to wh@ocucalc.de.

ID :unique patient ID (#001-999)
CCTop :central corneal thickness [mm] as measured with the Lenstar
ADop :preop aqueous depth [mm]as measured with the Lenstar
LTop :phakic lens thickness [mm] as measured with the Lenstar
AXLop :axial length [mm] as measured with the Lenstar
R1op :preop corneal radius#1 [mm] as measured with the Lenstar
R2op :preop corneal radius#2 [mm] as measured with the Lenstar
IOL :power [D] of implant IOL
Rx sph :spherical component of stable (!) subjectice refraction [D]
Rx cyl :cylindrical component of stable (!) subjective refraction [D]

In addition, the following information is required:

A: Surgeon (given name and surname) e.g. Dr. Tom Jones
B: City of practice e.g. Las Vegas
C: IOL type and manufacturer e.g. AMO AR40e
D: Nominal A-constant of manufacturer e.g. 118.2
E: S/N of Lenstar e.g. xyz
F: How was stable refraction determined ? e.g. subj. Rx, BCVA, 3 months postop

Furthermore, for publication in the ULIB list, the following information necessary: (if applicable)

G: ULIB name for IOL e.g. AMO AE40e
H: new IOL name e.g. AMO AR40e new
I: name of POOL-IOL e.g. AMO AR
J: data source e.g. Y Inc., A-city, B-country
K: surgeon reference nr. e.g. 199
